Nice pics but the link for your car doesn't work
I love the look of the GB270 (except for the rear waist spoiler). I was thinking of lowering and 18" wheels but will stay standard for the moment. The car is good as it is and I don't want to compromise. I want to be able to load it with people and luggage without the fear of scraping when exiting car parks etc. If I get bored in the future I will reconsider
A few more standard pics:

I would like to see one with Speedline Turinis in anthracite and prodrive springs!
Maybe we should start a thread for hawkeye wagons only

Finally ................after waiting 9 days for the DVLA to transfer my private reg I have finally collected my new sensible lifestyle wagon

Having gone from my 305 bhp bugeye it feels VERY different. Straight away I have noticed :-[list][*]Quieter ( even with the PPP which has a limited discrete but purposeful burble)[*]Creamy & Smooooooth power delivery but very linear and no kick in the back like before[*]Pick up in 1st gear can catch you out at junctions[*]Acceleration in any gear is immense and overtaking requires virtually no changing over gears ( 310 ft lbs torque)[*]Very easy to pile on the speed and exceed the limit in 4th & 5th[*]With the PPP :- 30-50 mph in 4th gear comes down from 5.0 to 4.0 seconds with 30-50 mph in 5th in 4.7 instead of 6.6 seconds[*]Ride is nicely damped & pliant ( inverted struts ) with more roll than before but waaaaay comfier over poor surfaces[*]The steering is much lighter and the car feels a lot more reponsive ( the 02 bugeyes had steering wheels like Corporation Buses !)[*]Throttle reponse is crisp[*]The acceleration is instant but the TD04 dies at about 5.5k

Love it though !

From what year model are these Sti wheels?
They look like 2005+ ones in which case they should be 114.3 PCD, how did they fit on the WRX?

fpan, they're actually found on the earlier Spec C blob and bugeyes. Great looking alloys if you ask me.

Dave,
Nice looking car! Could you post some side pics of it on a ground level? I am looking for a set of wheels and the P-WRC1 wheels are among my list. Are they 17's or 18's?
Also what mudflaps are these?

One more pic of a standard one

fpan,

those wheels are 18" i think the anthricite and aqua go quite well!( i had a white one with gold, and a blue one with silver previously) and the mudflaps were the cheapest nastiest ones the dealer had! i may change them to spats as they keep grinding the road on right hand corners!
i will post some current photos up later

regards

some updated ones i took earlier, i see you are from lund, my little brother stays in gothenburg, used to live in malmo. we had a lovely week up at the high coast last year for his wedding ,lovely country!!

i see yours has spats , do they offer much protection from mud/stones, and do you ever get them grinding out on hard cornering?

regards
dave

Interesting colour the aqua, it makes the car very underestimated and looks like the car belongs to a bigger category; it's nice to surprise people isn't it? I like the stealth look too.
I have only been here for 2 months now but I like it a lot. Scotland is beautiful too!
My splash guards are standard subaru items, they are OK but nowhere near as wide as the prodrive mudflaps (which I bought initially but they wouldn't fit as the wagon has a different wheel arch to the saloon). No, they don't touch even at hard cornering, they are pretty short but I prefer them now as they are discreet:

Here's my grocery getter (thanks for the link fpan)
Few winter shots now the sun has returned to Norway.
Stock apart from Nokian Hakka winter tyres.
Back to Tunny Wells dealer in July for PPP and Prodrive springs.
Maybe some reposts here but enjoy !
