LADS trip to Grizedale Rally (warning LOTS of pics!)
We went up to Grizedale today to watch some rallying - was quite fun. The wife & boys bottled out due to impending 'dampness' and probably the requirement to get out of bed at 6.20. There were about 7 'LADS' LADS - Lancashire And District Subaru owners club cars met up for the trip.
The drive up there was great fun , it was even dry (ish) until about 30 minutes after we got to our vantage point. Then it started raining and experienced rally watchers started adding more and more layers of wet weather clothing to their bodies - I was OK - just, feet were getting a little chilly though... Then about 10.30 it started to sleet ... then snow!
I don't know if it was the low light levels, the cold or the wet or water on the lense or the fact I was only using one hand on the camera... but most of my pics turned out a bit blurry DOH!
Arrived in the 'dry'
The famous cumberland sausage buttie provider...
Hey, I think it's beginning to sleet a bit...
No, no it's definately snowing... It won't lay though...
Yes - Kev has been Tango'd
I'm sure they didn't expect this!
Loads of lurvely Scoobs 8)
Trying to get a pic of the Evo I followed all the way back to the Swan - He did an amazing job of reversing quite a way out of the 'car park' - I wouldn't want to have done it
Anyway a great day out, thanks especially to Kev for organising it and leading the way , and also to all the other guys and youngsters for turning up - it's much more fun in a big group!
