in what way is it a nightmare mate?? there not to bad, he will be able to change his spark plugs quicker! lol!
and standard there not the quickest things in the world but the transmition is very strong! the engines are pretty useless unless the paper head gasket is changed, when it is changed you can run more boost!
i have one of these BUT,
i have fitted a later celica (st205) engine in to mine, the 205 engine has a better cylinder head, steel headgasket and the ecu is mapped to take higher boost! so with my engine running 1.2 bar my car will be around the 300 bhp mark. my car is very very stripped out too and although not as light as a classic its not far off! my cars for the track so you may see it next year! mine has fibreglass carlos sainz bonnet too
so unless micky you got 300 bhp i wouldnt be so sure
and another thing, the gt four uses a 50/50 power split to the front and back so makes for excelent play time in the wet or on the beach!
i had an st205 before my scooby and loved it!
any questions just ask mate! if i dont know the answer il know someone who will!

well my friends a good mechanic and just said they were a nightmare to work on.. my mate had one and blew his engine and it took ages to sort out.. plus his running costs were higher than my STIs!

Used to love these. I'd ditch the horrible wheels and exhaust and put it back to standard.

ive just bought a set of wheels and im looking for a more standard looking exhaust.

running costs are way less than the type ra!!! getting average 25mpg. I do drive it very steady though.

i had a black h plate gt4! i loved it! it was a more fun car to drive and had a better gearbox than the scoob! i didnt think it was much slower than my uk turbo scoob! the girlies loved it, apart from the bucket seats in the back when you needed some action! had to buy the scoob as a more sensible option for baby on way!

i had gt-four a good few years ago, black one with momo 17s was really mint but was really slow for a 4 wheel 2l turbo, but it was standard i only kept it for about 5 months, nice in side tho for a 1990 car

Would look great on a white set of compomotive MO's. I think if these car's are styled with their rally heritage in mind they can look awesome. Please stay way from lowering a putting one of those bloody rediculous veilside body kit's on it!!
