Exclamation

Got my STi6 Spoiler today, rushed home from work to take my old one off so I could lay it on the boot lid to see how it looks

Can't help thinking it just looks too damn big though....I'll graft it on properly in the morning, meantime, what do the masses think of it?

Comments please!

John

A shot from a distance would give us a better idea of size/too big/not too big, but it looks good to me, sorry I mean it looks bloody great.

Cool

Wish Subaru had sent my UK300 with a wing like that!
Very nice, gives the car more road presence.

Thumbs up!!!!!!!!!

Looks lovely

DR Motorsport? The 6 looks a little bigger than the 5 doesn't it due to the raised rear edge of the top wing?

COOL

So its a thumbs up from everyone then
I actually bought it from the sales section on here, arrived today.

Its a DRM one indeed, not been on the previous owners car very long, its as good as new

Can't wait till the morning when I've fitted it, I'll give the car a wash and post some daylight pics up tomorrow.

Cheers!

John

ps Chris, dunno whats happening with the old one just yet, If I decide to part with it you'll know first m8.

I've got the same colour scooby. I think it looks tooooo tall. Put the original one back on and I'll take the 6 off your hands so you can free up some garage space

Trust me mate, its nice, i just fitted the exact spoiler to my rally blue, it looks awesome.

Only problem is, and looking at yours seems you’ll have the same trouble, where the 2 pieces meet, the top one does not match the bottom perfectly on the sides, ther is about a 5mm overhand that im sure is not supposed to be there. Would you mind mailing me with details if this is true and the supplier (don’t want to name names here)

But other than that im happy with mine.

It’ll make your scoob look like a real scoob, if that makes sense

As a proud owner of a genuine STi5 spoiler(second hand but mint condition) on a my00 I think they look awesome...what a scooby should look like
Ask Salsa King and Gridlock Mikey....after seeing mine they both want one now.

Unhappy

Bit Off Topic but...

How many extra holes need to be put in the bootlid, and if you were to put the original back on , would it be easy to disguise them (a couple of discreet plugs wouldn't be so bad) or would some filling and painting be required.
