Default PROJECT: RB320 1:18 Autoart model

What do you think?

T-cut the STI logos on the rear, front and sides. Fitted the RB320 logos and new boot lock

Painted the seats to look like alacantara RB320 seats (decided to leave the carpet rather then painting blue - should have been that way anyway)

then fitted the RB320 logos

Bye Bye Gold wheels

Door cards painted to match seats

All back together again

Final job is to paint the front mesh chrome then job done.

You have too much time on your hands!!!

Excellent work though.....good skills

I was thinking about trying to get a model for every car I've ever owned.....like a 3D photo album. I think some of the cars are impossible to find in model form though.... Datsun 100A, Corolla GT, etc, etc.

Any tips for top model supplies???

This place has some good ones, but not what I want!

Excellent work, really does look accurate.

To hijack the post a little, I've been trying to find a modle of a classic UK turbo MY00. Any thoughts?

cheers

you'll have to get the police car version that AutoArt do. Thats the only one they do for UK model in classic shape

other then that there other manufacturers that do them but quality is very poor.

where can i get one from?
I've emailed AutoArt with pics and links to the RB320 site, doubt I'd get a response but worth a try.

I have started a bidding over on the RB320oc forum for this model, the winner will have a choice of the registration plate, current price is £126

so thats £66 so far towards RBF

There is a white 4 door STI 3 by AutoArt as I have one here. They also did a blue one the same and a 22B.

Great skills there mate.

Reminds me when I used to spend most of my time building RC Cars and adding bits and bobs. Still even have some of my FG (1/5th scale) Porsches at my Mums that are just collecting dust now. I did a replica of the RWS Red Bull Porsche 911 GT3RS . Took me ages to get some Red Bull Stickers to fit the 1/5th scale shell. Managed to find some in Germany in the end.

Did AutoART go bust or am I thinking of another company? I've got the Le Mans 1/18th scale models.
Did anyone do a black bugeye STi model?

Steve
