looking great great wheels, what are they? i've just ordered myself a 330mm 4 pot brake kit and need some wheels that they'll fit under. you know what my car looks like and they'd really suit it. i'm tempted to have a go a climb or two once it's all done.

Licence/clothing/minimum prep on the car (!) roll cage is a good idea.
A season will cost about £1000 in fees to enter etc.

The car needs to be solid and 'MoT' safe.

A 4 point race harness is a good idea too.

If you have the car, then about 1500 all-in for 10 races.

Big thank you for the replies - great to get positive feed back

I sometimes think about changing for a Type R, but something about the RAs is very addictive.

A great deal of time and money has been spent on the car, the money of course will never be recouped. Sold my last 4 Imprezas just as they were "sorted", so must keep this one.

She is going to API next week for a TD05 20g turbo, API injectors, fuel pressure regulator and APEXI remap*.

Don't think I will change much cosmetically, *but one is always after more va va voom

Can never get over how low your car looks Richard compared to mine:

Can I ask a favour of you?
Can you measure from the front wing apex of the arch to the floor please?

Floor to wing apex (standard STi struts and H&R springs + 215/40 17 tyres) 610 mm.

Thanks Richard, mine is 620mm!

The 20g will make it shift, you really will feel the change, I love mine.
Why not go for a M321 other than the ££££ difference?

Lovely Impreza - agree with changing the wheels (darker colours, I think, best suit the white cars)?

David at API has a 20g available from a customer's car (only a couple of hundred miles on it) and for my current budget, I think it will be the best option.

Limiting factor (as ever) is £££££.

321H would be a good choice but is rather dearer than the 20G we are talking about. 321T would be laggy in your circumstances, unless l can sell a 2.35 rebuild to go with it

David 2.35 would be fine - but Wife would need to know why this was needed.

Women - just don't understand BHP

PS When I collect the car can you have the invoice ready for me. Better half thinks the STI is going to you for an oil and filter change
