Car Ding Strip - Classic
Anyone got a picture of one of these on any other classics (ideally green)?
Saw one on an advert and considering to protect against dings.
Subaru : V reg Impreza Turbo 2000 AWD
What are they called?
Cheers

They look a bit crap on a silver car. Maybe better if colour coded or on a darker coloured car.

Would probably colour code them, but my car is dark green anyway.
Any idea's what the 'proper' name is for them??

I've always called them 'bump strips'. There's probably a more technical term.

Are these simply stick on affairs or is any modding required? I am guessing the former.

I cant remember the exact cost of them from a dealer, but I think £70 should about cover it.

Dude, say something useful or shush. I have a lot of dinks and scratches on my doors from prats in car parks hitting them and they really show up on a mica black car. While I am not getting any for myself, I can completely understand people wanting them!

Ain't that the truth...... I seem to get a new one every time I park it, even after choosing the space carefully.

"You will be adding reflectors to your door edges next" Ok, I should have worded my reply better. By saying that you are making out that only anoraks and gimps in general should be using side protectors and then naturally we would all put reflectors on them. Yes, of course they would.....
As I said, I am not fitting any myself, but they are a good idea and my doors are going to cost me a small fortune to repair......
