Im thinking, does anyone here have this size of tires on STi ?

225/35 - 18

Tirerack recomend Tire Size:225/40-18

but i was wondering if i could use 225/35 ...

I dare say you'd be ok with them as standard are 225/45, so 225/35 or 225/40 should be fine.

However....I have heard several people say that the handling isn't as good on 18's and I'd assume that was due to the extra stiffness/harshness introduced with the lower sidewalls.

35 profile would surely make this worse than 40 profile.

i have this size on front of car they are fine, and 235 35 on back
