Spoiler- On/Off
Here's my MY05 STi as it stands at the moment but have been toying with the idea of removing the rear spoiler altogether. What do you guys think?
Now
After I cleaned it today, I decided to de-wing it
Cheers

Its back on at the moment Yan don't worry
Was also thinking about a S203 or RA-R style one so many choices
There's nigh on 15 holes in the bootlid so if it's raining for the next meet there's 2 hopes of me keeping it off

I think they look great with the Spec D spoilers on them.....have considered doing it myself, but would mean finding a completely holeless bootlid to start with

Thanks for the replies guys, I think the general consensus has just slightly swayed to leaving it on
Frayz, she's as low as i wanna go at the moment, got adjustable height KW's on there at the mo and it scrapes like buggery!
Also been thinking Spec D lip spoiler (anyone wanna swap? )

Mervil, why go along with what others want, you're your own person, and i like it without!!
I suspect you'll have seen my spoilerless my00 in pictures, people thought i was totally bonkers when i first did it, but people seem to like it now!!
Either way i don't care, i like it, and it's my car!!

Sure you'd sell the genuine STi spoiler for more than the cost of the spec D lip spoiler from japparts.com

I like the spoilerless look BUT think the STI is too chunky up front to carry it off. It just makes the scoop look even bigger and the front and back don't match up. I think the look suits the WRX better to be honest, smooth side bumpers, smoother front end too. I think you should leave the spoiler on.

I went from the spec D spoiler (which is the same as the wrx) to the GB270 style prodrive spoiler... but I'm not 100% happy with either tbh...
I like the lip spoiler posted here on the white car above as am looking for something more subtle but not the wrx low level spoiler as I think it looks crap. Looks like there is something missing when you go completely spoilerless.
I wonder where you can get that spoiler that I mentioned I like?
