Default V5 Sti Type-Ra - 1st Mods Completed!!

Bought it a 6 weeks ago as a Std Immaculate V5 Sti Type-Ra..

These car's are so sorted from the factory it' hard to improve them so I'm keeping mod's to a minimum..

I've completed my 1st stage of Mod's inc..

Full De-Tango.
Genuine Carbon Fibre Mirrors.
Eibach Springs.
Exedy Clutch & Lightend flywheel.
Full H&S Exhaust system from turbo back.
STI Tailored mats.
Momo Steering Wheel.
Re-Sized Front plate.

Next on the list is - Ecu upgrade, Carbon Fibre V5 Sti splitter and maybe some big brakes, then it's jobs a good en ..

Hope you like it . . .

If you did change mate you wouldn't regret it..

This is my 3rd Impreza I had a 310bhp Wrx and a heavily modded Uk Turbo 2000 running around 300Bhp - This is leagues ahead and virtually std.
The acceleration on these things is awesome, I haven't stopped smiling yet

Cheers for the comments also, it really is as clean as as it looks in the pic's.

Very easy - Being an Ra with no electrics or mirror adjusters it was just a case of unscrewing the old one's out and screwing the new one's in..

Got them from scooby parts £200.

Really nice car. One thing I don't like, and I am aware it is on most imports as standard, is the oversized WRX on the back. Just my personal opinion though.

Thanks mate - Type-Ra's don't come with skirts etc just built to sprint and rally basically, so are stripped of all the fancy bits n bobs and electrical goodies.

Body wise it's totally original other than the de-tango and the mirrors.

The big Wrx sticker is also original it's fitted to all Type R/Ra's - All other Imports that wear them have been stuck on

I know what you mean rear visibility is naff on the n/s mirror, just can't get the adjustment right. Fortunately it's abit of a weekend toy so can live with it ..
