Nurburgring Norschleife easter weekend pics (800+)
and I think there were a few scoobynetters there..
Thursday
Friday
Saturday Morning
Saturday Afternoon
Sunday
(843 pics in total.. 1024x768 pixels on the page)
if you want any of them in a bigger version, just ask.. (I'll only answer reasonable requests of course, so don't ask for "all porsches please" )
to pick out a few:
really liked the GC8's that were there!
lots of these, as always:
talked to you for a minute on thursday.. you must have done quite a few laps,..
Sabine was having fun showing all the guys how it's done
really fast and one hell of a sound for a non boxer
not everything went well for everyone, he was really lucky he didn't roll it.. thank god noone was injured
and on a personal note, I've decided on a colour for the mudflaps.. and they certainly got some attention..
well look through the galleries, there's many more..
regards
Martin

am jealous, at the min I am just apprehensive of taking my new car there as I have never done a track day, so think this year it a few UK track days for me and see how it goes, does having track day experience help, do you think . I don’t want to be really slow and therefore get in the way of others and expose my self to crazy overtakes etc

I'd certainly recommend attending a few trackdays before attacking the nordschleife..
I did only one before I went to the ring though and I haven't had any mishaps.. and even if you've been to several trackdays, you won't know the corners at all for the first few laps so you'll be a bit in the way anyway..
just don't go all out right away, dare to be the slow one, there's a few surprising corners..

If you have a full resolution version (or any others that I've not spotted) I'd be very grateful! Cheers!

I think I did 8 laps on Thursday evening in the 205 knowing that the rest of the weekend would be busy. I managed 35 in total which was a good enough number for me and the old girl.
I have loads of pictures which I will post on the northloop web-site in the next few days.

nice pics, i will have to put mine up this evening.
that was a great weekend, cracking weather apart from the chilly afternoon on saturday. no rain is always a good thing though.
