Default Gold wheels now bronze!

Just had all of the wheels on my classic painted from gold to a specially mixed matt bronze, they've been refurbed too, all for the grand total of....nowt! Had ti done at work while the bosses are off.

Excuse the pics, where just quickly taken in between fitting.

I'll get some better pics up this weekend after its had a good wash

Saves me having to but new wheels now. They look awesome, 100% better than gold.

Got some better pics done when I got home with the wheels on the car

I wanted them repainting but couldn't decide on a colour, gold is pretty common and I don't think silver or black would've suited so chose bronze.

Comments welcome

How much did the paint job cost ya?
You would probably have been better off forking out for some new rims.
There are some very reasonable wheel/tyre packages around these days which do not cost the earth .
Good luck dude

To reply to Rich's suggestion about wheels, I have a limited budget and nobody supplys the wheels I want in this country and if they can order them in I'm looking at £1000 just for the 17" wheels. Thats £1000 that can be better off spent else where on the car. I refuse to stick on just any set of wheels going cheap, if I a putting new wheels on they have to be the right ones for me.

Since this repaint didn't cost me anything and it they were refurbed in the process, a total saving of around £300, I don't have to bother getting new wheels now.

Unfortunately not, the painter just mixed up the colours to get a bronze, his only referrence was a picture of a set of wheels in JTuner magazine.

I could do with the mix details myself incase I scratch them.
