Default Five Scoobs in 2 years!

I have now been through 5 scoobs in under 2 years - here is a brief history!

STi Version III - Stage One mods to 310bhp - great car but not reliable enough for commute

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...rt_01/STi3.jpg

JDM WRX 2002 - Comfortable but unexciting

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...52Plate001.jpg

JDM STi MY2003 - API 350 re-map - incredibly quick but not burble and too extreme for 130 mile a day motorway commute

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u...rt_01/STi9.jpg

UK Turbo 2000 MY2000 - Stage 1 mods - re-established my faith in why I got into Scoobs in the first place! Great fun but NO aircon

http://i171.photobucket.com/albums/u..._01/uk2000.jpg

So, last week I jumped into a WRX PPP MY2004 - and so far I love it - comfortable, well mapped for UK roads

From the look of the new scoob this is likely the end of the line for me!

How long will the red one last then?

What's the difference between JDM WRX and UK? I know the STI differences but not the WRX

Nice set of cars mate.

I agree also, the version 3 is the best in that line up.

I like the black STi, great collection though, nice bit of brand loyalty you have there

Thanks chaps, I must keep the red one for at least a year! The JDM WRX should be 250bhp in standard guise. Mine was mapped for 97ron but only boosted to around 0.9bar - I never got it on a rolling road but doubt it made anywhere near 250bhp. The WRX with PPP is much, much quicker in virtually every way and gear!
JDM WRX's are great a rarity - most importers bring only models not normally available in UK - however, they do have a very special button - even better than the 'bright' button in my opinion. It's labelled AP and is an air purifier 0 that is if you lit up in the car it would emove the smoke. I think this button is also in JDM 22B's but stand to be corrected!
And yeah - I rather liked the white one - just too extreme for my commute!
