Fetched the Scoob today, it's been in storage for the winter, since last November.

Wow, have I missed it or what.....

Seems a shame to store it away.

Out of interest do you put your battery on a trickle charge, keep turning it over etc.

Yes indeed, the battery charges for an hour three times a day.....the car is also supported off the ground by axle stands, with upwards pressure added to each wheel/strut to avoid full extension for long periods.

I don't turn or run the engine at all, I would rather avoid moisture sitting in the system, plus the garage is heated, so no worry of condensation.

Why do I not use it in the winter or bad weather, cause it 'is' absolutely mint, what you see above is exactly how clean it is underneath. Plans this year are to have some of the bit's & pieces that show slight signs of wear re-coated in black, that's the bits that ain't gonna be replaced., roll bar's & drop link's etc.

The ball ache of owning an RA is the gearing, there not very user friendly on long jaunt's, but hey that's not what there made for.

Cheers for the comments guy's

Phil

My first post since Dec, and SN has all changed.

Car's looking good, though. I got mine back recently as well. Bring on the summer.
