cheers mate, jus bought it the other week from a guy up in york, he took the car in on a p/x with an alfa! The only reason i ask if any1 knows the car is because it got a s/n sticker on the back and its had a lot of mods done in the past! most taken off now

The front wing doesnt look lined up right the groove along it doesnt meet up with the groove on the door and its too low for the bonnet?

Has it had a knock?

yeah it's had a front mount put on it in the past! The bonnets slightly twisted cuz of the strut brace that was on it, and it's had the face lift lights and grill! the main car is as straight as a die and had no signs of any smashes! the car HPI'd last month and come back all straight!

Try a AA check, just on the safe side if you fancy it?

Probably the wing and bonnect not correctly aligned up when the FMIC was fitted. Either that or its had a little front end knock?

Hope it all turns out to be ghost stories.

Monki.

Default Negative posters

Now now children!
The guy just bought a car and checked it out, and all some can do is dis it, and doubt it's kosher.
If he is happy with HPI checks and wants to share the joy with us then why not say something positive, or just say nothing?

Idiot Until we knew it had a FMIC installed, it def looked like the frontend was twisted. I was actually worried for the guy, not trying to diss his motor, a lovely example by the way.

Ignorance is no excuse!
You put his beloved down without all of the facts, and then are rude to others who respond to your posts.
Why not engage brain before fingers?
Then you back peddle by giving compliments about a car that you say looked dodgy!
Wrong...wrong....wrong...

Guys i dont think anyone was actually "dissing/putting down" his car. Since he mentioned that hes just purchased the car, they rather make him aware now so that he has some chance of returning it etc etc.

Scoobycraig, I generally like the car but one or two things that arent very clear are for a start the strut brace should not mess up adjustment of the bonnet and is a FMIC was installed before and now removed, why has that lifted the bonnet rather than have lesser effects. This is not a dig, just to make you aware, incase the guy has screwed you.

Nevertheless, I hope it is a very straight car and you can enjoy the wonders of Impreza ownership

I didn't put it down at all you goddam asshat. And I'm only ever rude in retaliation, not unprovoked.
