I'm very impressed with your work.

I work Solidworks 5 days a week and I can honestly say i wouldn't be able to model that in 3D

How does 3DMAX work?
Is it anything like Solidworks, inventor etc where the car has to be modeled up panel by panel to scale?

Are you sure that's a Subaru? It looks quite attractive!

Thats great!

I'm not a big fan of kits and stickers, but I have to admit I think that would look very nice in the metal.

We going to take guesses on the size of those rims?? 20"s?? They make my 18"s look piddly!

I am doing this in real life.

After seeing those pictures, it makes the car look absolutly unbeleivable,

I might have to settle for the WRC kit but without the spoiler and see how that goes, i just loved the flared arches, and the STi stickers they just finish it off.

So nice mate well done, and awesome job aswell.

good job you didn't model a speed bump too, you'd have had polygons everywhere off that front splitter !

Lovely modelling - not keen on the lighting tho. Stick it on a nice mountain road and render it again with more realism IMO.

Love it - when I'm rich I'm going to build one just like that - or have someone else build it for me.

Def send them to Subaru Japan - get their comments.

Excellent work mate, used 3dmax and lightwave for a very short period of time and managed to make a cube LOL

How long have you been using it, what version and are you self taught? did you use scanned drawings of the scooby as a front, side and plan elevations?

Looking at learning 3dmax soon as I've pretty much got the 2d stuff boxed (photoshop etc)

Once again...real quality stuff, well impressive.

Impressive work mate, I am a 3D Max user as well, only ever used v6.0 and I can say its amazing app once you get to grips with it.

I don't even want to workout how complex the mesh is to that scooby but I can appreciate how long it takes to make something like that.

Thought about offering your models for a cost? would save alot of time for people like me to do other stuff like tweak the models.

I´m using 3dsmax8 now, started with version 1,2 in 1998.
I have been looking to put my meshes up for sale, just havent goten to it yet but if someone wants one they can mail me

Yes i had blueprints on the background when i made it, but the biggest help was my real STI

Ahhh, you should have started off with a sphere.

Not used Max for quite some time now - used to love it's particle manipulation, shadow mapping and IK. Could you put this model into a more realistic environment and do an 'action shot' - would look superb.
