Default Lowered classics with Sti 16" wheels, pics please?

As above, ideally i want for myself is the sti 16" wheels in black, dropped on tein coilovers. But not sure if the wheels would look too small, or 17's would be better

Dunno if its help but this is my STi2 on coilovers and standard 16" wheels, hopefully they won't be staying gold for too much longer either

Quite fancy a set of 17" Rota Grids later in the year too

205/50/16. Its been that low since it came over from Japan last summer and to be honest its a bit too low for some of the roads round here. Certainly wouldn't want it any closer to the ground!

I just can't bring myself to raise it up because it handles like a sodding go-kart

I know how you mean. I had super street teins on my previous wagon, till this day its still the best handling car I have ever driven. Even when I was in california, drove my uncles new sl65, of course it was power full. Handling was no where near as good as the scooby.

Don't go too low as the driveshafts might complain and the ride will stiffen.
Daft Lad's is lower than mine I think.

i could drop about another 20mm but then sleeping policemen will become a pain.
As it is I can drive on the road without worry/swerving to miss raised ironworks etc.

Mine certainly drives on rails but it is got at a bit in the suspension.

what kind of finish did you go for on your wheels? gloss black/satin black? were they just sprayed, or baked aswell?

Nope, thats about as low as mine. Front splitter may be an issue though

Better pic with the old wheels on to give you a better impression of ride height...
