Default New Scooby

Got a replacement for my old / (newer) scooby which i got bored of because i couldnt tune it due to the warranty.

from a cursory glance round the car it has the following

1999 turbo 2000 (uk)
superchipped with boost gauge & boost (regulator)
314bhp @ 1.5 bar
sti suspension
sti gear box
17" black 7 spokes
yokohama tires
straight through 3" system with 4" tail
both cats removed
dump valve
drilled discs & red pads
dvd screen & player - 3 amps & sony subwoofer

will upload some decent pics when i get chance to give it a full valet

old (newer) scooby

in betweeny toy before i realised my heart belonged to subaru

as fast as the sti (290bhp) but bit of a pig when it came to reliability though

Incidentally - i find that the 99 turbo 2000 awd to be a far better car to drive than the 2005 sti - it holds the road better and just seems a lot more of a drivers car.

The classics are a lot better looking too.

Just my personal opinion??

what does anyone else think???

only plans at the mo are give it a good wash & wax and save up £600 for top service & timing belts change (what a rip off)

it's fine for the moment @ 314 bhp - it seems reliable

whats the next step and costs if i wanted to take it to say... 350bhp???

cheers

if you are happy with it, stick to it as it is, reliability etc...

Had two classics and now an MY06... i'd never go back to the old cars. Each to their own tho, enjoy

Tony.
