Bugeye Skirts ?
I've really got to get rid of those black plastic things.
Are these the standard side skirts from a bugeye STi or an aftermarket one and would they go straight on my bugeye WRX.

If not standard STi ones, are the STi ones much different to the WRX's - a pic plz.
BTW : Hope the original poster doesnt mind me using his pic as an example, Steve Cranfields motor robbed off this thread

Thanks

The side skirts in your first picture are Subaru STI Prodrive spec ones, they are a little more curvy than normal STI ones. And probably more expensive.
Normal colour coded STI skirts are identical to the black - unpainted - WRX ones, see pic in link below for STI ones. (Im a little confused by the description on that page but Im sure they are basically painted WRX ones.) Both the STI skirts and Prodrive skirts are direct bolt on's onto a Bugeye body.
Side Under Spoiler set - Blue Black - STi standard spec only. Prefitted to Prodrive spec. (Spoiler shown in WR Blue.)
Hope that helps.

I prefer the std WRX sideskirts when they're colour coded anyday
They're a bit deeper and stop you being able to see the jacking points like you can with the STi versions....well 03 onward models anyway
see what I mean

will a set of wrx 03 skirts, as in pic above, go on a bugeye. I know someone who replaced theirs pretty much as soon as they got the car so they've been sat in the loft and are better condition than the ones I have on now, I'll just get them colour coded.

excellent - problem solved, buy a front lip from HT Autos and colour code the skirts and I'll be a happy bunny.
