1st experience with a scoobie!!
hi guys, after wanting one for ages i have finally purchased my 1st scoob!
wrx import and i'm loving it. Petrol is a nightmare but the constant smile on my chops makes up for it!

thanx mate - is that the same as "coil packs"? if so i did think that too, but was told that as its fine on full boost and high revs its not likely to be the coil packs...but i aint got a clue fella?!?!?!!?!?

That statements not true though. Mine was lumpy and idled funny, then when warmed up and normal driving it was fine.
Another thing to check/change could be MAF sensor. You prob got one of those mushroom type filters on there, which over time get blocked up with oil,dirt etc in the foam filter. Give that a clean off and maybe change the MAF sensor. No harm in trying that if you can find some1 selling a MAF cheap enough (quite costly new!)

When you say petrol is a nightmare, how bad exactly is it??? I take delivery of my 53plate WRX PPP next Saturday.
