Default my scooby...

well ive just finished it and coated it in a couple of layers of hairspray sealant...
im quite impressed actually at how its turned out so thought it deserves its own thread (i hope people dont think im being big headed, im just proud as punch with the results)

for those that didnt know, i started by drawing the pencil outline on a 48"x36" canvas i bought on the off-chance. i then decided to colour it in with pastel pencils (like chalk pastel but more graphic), and have shown its progress in stages with piccies taken on my phone.

i didnt realise that other people would want me to do commision work for them but thanks for the chance to showcase my talents and make a little money for some mods.

anyway here it is it stages, hope you like. any comments welcome as long as they are within reason - ie no trolls/keyboard her comments please...

and final pics...

HOPE YOU LIKE!!

ANDY

lol i wish...

drawing a car is very much like making love to a bautiful woman. first you have to find the "right lines", then you have to get a feal for "what your tackling", and lastly you have to "fill the gaps in"

sorry couldnt resist...

dont worry about it, I used to use lines like that, hence the nickname

very good work, have not drawn in ages, so its good to see other ppl using their talent

like how you did the background..those pesky marks hidden by some careful shading

yeah i personally think the background makes it a little more complete, as otherwise it would look a little lost. i didnt fancy drawing a street background, so had a mooch through some old chalk pastels, picked one out ans set to work with a scalpel...
