in the US you can have a pic of your cat on your front plate if you want, its not fair (i dont want a cat on mine)
i got a ticket 2 years ago for having a small square rear plate and just recently i went to court for breaking up a group of reg digits and only one sized spacing on a normal size square plate, got a fine
i think that makes sense

This one caem on the car and is also camera shy. When you shine light on it it says WRX across the whole plate. I should really change it but I've not had any problems with the police yet. Think I'd go Evo style if I did get caught out, even though I don't have a FMIC.

3/4 of standard bud
mine was 320mm x 73mm
but got alot of attention from P.C Plod
so changed to 375 x 82 , still too small but they've left me alone since
did get pulled last week , he wanted to ''look around the car'' , he never mentioned the plate

NPR cameras mounted on plods cars also use the front plate.
Also had to go down the 'Evo' plate route after having plod attention, I was also informed by plod that it's not only a £30 fine but can be upto £2k if it goes to court.
