Default Porter Cable

This is the first results using the Porter Cable and Sonus 'swirlbuster' kit. The Avus silver is a hard colour to shine and I think it has come right out. Cant wait to let loose on the WRX300....

This is where I got it from, though we had a discount due to the interest from the TT forum. The guy to speak to is Mike. He will advise you on your individual requirements. My paint is good, and both cars are a year old, so I went with the one pad solution....

It is cheaper, but there are issues. You still have to buy the transformer and extension lead also so that is another $125 or £70 here......

You will have to pay the shipping and the import tax, plus you will have to pay the robbing f~$ckers at Royal Mail for re-delivering it to you from the main parcel depot to your house.

We looked into it quite extensively, and decided to get it here. I agreed we could have shaved a little bit more off the price, but we were getting it from a proffesional who we could fall back on for help. He sends a great DVD and instruction manual. Plus would also offer training (at a cost....)

He also agreed for us TT owners to do a straight discount, rather than a group buy, so after all I thought I did OK...

To be honest I think a lot of it is down to cleaning the car properly...

I used to be a one bucket man and sponge. Now I am a two bucket, Meguiars Mitt and clay bay man.....I dont use a chammy anymore, I use bodyshop grade cloths etc etc....once you have finished with that it is gleaming anyway. Need to do a before and after really!

I always ask for it to be sent as a gift, or NCV...but I have been burnt before buying from the states...and after all you dont want to pay shipping if you have to send it back for any reason....(like I did once)...

Thats not a bad price for the Pro set! Not sure what the shipping would be, probably around £30 I guess. Still only around £30 difference including the discount...

I guess it was just convenient to get everything from the same supplier. I dont think we found anyone else that sent the complete kit at a discount (and next day)...
