I'll use this thread for posting results/pics...... (might be slow due to work commitments...)

Dont think you can. I phoned after several email conversations just to make sure it was done right since its from Canada. Andy's the sales manager and builder of these units. Think he's getting quite a lot of sales over in their neck of the woods as there was a 2 week waiting list when i spoke to him. Just happened he got some bits in later on that day. Made it up for me that night and got it in the post next day. Top bloke but a 'funny' accent...

Update:
**** easy to install. Just need to phone Andy ref. dccd output wires as i dont know which is the ground side. Got a RW and a YR....anyone know?
Dccd loom is a no-go for removing. Its part of the main loom. Might be different for earlier versions? Doubt it. So, dccd ecu and thumbwheel will be available soon, hopefully by the end of the week. I also have a pdf which covers all wiring systems on the car.(2004sti from ebay!).
Graham you have 1st dibs.
I would however, recommend getting a neetronics as it will be far easier to install than the original gubbins and obviously has the other benefits to go with it. Not as gucci as the motec/(pectel?) setup but doesnt cost £££.

Doug, thanks for the info, but the Neetronics sounds easy!
The V3/4 had the loom separate to the car loom would you belive.
Please give me a few days/this week Doug!
I won't mess you around Andy.
John Stevenson got AndyF's 'kit' bugga!

Andy, its a bugger to find. Its way back under the dash on the left of the steering column. You need to get your head right under to see it. If the dash is out, you'll see the main loom has 2-3 seperate bunches of wires coming off it just behind where the rev counter is (left clock). One of these runs down to the ecu and has two of these chunky white connectors on the end of it that go to the ecu. Ecu sort of looks like a nice shiney silver external HD.
Its not going anywhere so you can sort it out between yourselves if anyone wants it. Personally, for the money, get a neetronics.
On the hills today Graham? Cant believe Rob's dad has 2 short wheelbase audi's. Lucky bugger. The 'road' version ( ) doesnt look that much slower than his hillclimber!

Doug/Andy:
I've been given 'clearance' for the Neetronics by the Financial Controller/Director..the wife.
It seems to be the best way forward and suits my timescales too (ie lazy in-between racing seasons)
I am 'chasing ' a full kit off someone else, but all this chasing is justifying the Neetronics.
More $$$ but no chasing!
Doug: Yes hillclimbing this weekend, see the Project thread.
Rob's dad owns a cut hill climb Quattro and a real short base too!

With a bit of luck he'll win the championship, get bored of the evo and go get himself a single seater leaving it wide open.....
Andy, you wanting the ecu then? Just give us a shout if you do...
