Default finally got round to fitting my gauges

i will be replacing the pod but this was a freebie so mushn't grumble

scuse the pics as it's a bit dark in my garage, these were the best 3 out of 103







also moved the knocklink to a more suitable place

big thanks to Nick Gilchrist for the gauges

Are those the smoked version ones?........ if so thats prob the best view you will get of them,as in any daylight conditions they are a bugger to read,great at night and when cloudy,but the slightest sunlight reflects badley on them..........

it's straight now

they are a bit of a b1tch to see in the daylight tbh
i want a pod that fits in the same hole but faces the driver , i've seen them somewhere but can't remember where

I managed to get hold of a carbon Defi pod for mine,but there not the best gauges in daylight.......Look spot on after dark though..

Ok I have the pod and thats it what else do I need ?
and how much am I lookin at ? and fitting costs ?

(I know I need the gauges, but do I need wiring or do they all come with everything?)

click the link on my first post

they come with senders , you will need a sandwich plate that fits between the oil filter and sump, which allows the oil gauge senders, 2 in my case...
you will also need a sleeve for the water gauge sender to fit , the sleeve fits in the main hose on the radiator, i have samcos and its 38mm , nick(above) supplies everything you need. also needed is a wiring harness that connects all the gauges together, makes life alot easier

if you ring him and mention scooby dazza sent you then you may get a bit of discount
fitting wise , i got quoted 100 + vat
so i challenged someone else to beat that and they did . 100 cash
and i helped which should have doubled the labour cost lol as i got him too move my boost gauge and knocklink
