Default Pic Request: Newage with gun metal & silver PFFs

Hi All,

I'm in the market for new 18's on my NewAge STi. Only a few people have the PFF replicas in stock at the minute it seems.

Does anyone have any pics of the Gun metal and silver, so i can compare. I wanted the gunmetal ones, but the only stockist is £200 more than the company with the silvers. So i want to see if the silvers go OK.

It's to go on a black newage.

Thanks everyone to help me spend my dosh.

That's the colour i'm after, but it seems they dont do this "anthracite" in the replicas, only gun-metal which is darker, or silver which is much brighter.

Damn, i want the same colour as yours, that's the best for the black beasts IMO.

I am running 225 40 R18 PZero Neros on my MY03 Stealth Wagon which sits a little lower than standard on Prodrive Eibach springs.

And nothing rubs.

335mm discs with alloy bells courtesy of Godspeed on the front..

OE caliper with standard sized disc on the back.

Another set of genuine PFF7s in bright flitter on my 06.... not a black car but hey . This is by far the best colour, the replica silver and gun metal don't come close!

I think you're right. I'm now checking out the powder coat route, so i can get the silver replicas and change colour to match the bright flitter. I can't justify almost double for the originals. Well, not until my balance has recovered from the parts & remap.

Thanks for all the pics, bright flitter are the ones i want.

If anyone of you cant stand your 18" bright flitters and want to swap for some lovely 17" gold sti wheels, one kerb mark on 1 alloy and worn front tyres, give me a shout...

Still not had confirmation from any stockist i contacted if there are any colours that match the bright flitter/anthracite in the replicas.

Have only been told: gold, white, silver and gun metal.

Maybe powder coating the silvers is an option?!?

Nobody does the bright flitter in replicas... and if you won't to powder coat them good luck finding the bright flitter paint code! Mine need a refurb but i have only found paint codes that are like it rather than the exact one.

Aye, it seems that when referred to as Anthracite, they're actually the gun metal ones, which i think are too dark for a black car.

I think i'm gonna go with silvers and coat them darker. What's the closest code you found?

I got them in a Group Buy on here 2 years ago ~ £860 ~ Brembo 4 pot calipers / Ferodo DS2000 Pads / Stainless Steel lines / 335mm discs / plus all fixings.

Then I sold the original 4 pots & discs & got back half the cost of the new stuff & yes they do work as well as they look.

They were on all four from new so it may be the casting or it could be the carcass of the tyre. The main thing is they don't vibrate so are in balance.

The gun metals are too dark (for a black car IMO) and the silvers too bright.

And i can't seem to get a set of Bright Flitter originals, so i think i'm gonna get the silver replicas and paint them to bright flitter.

Does anyone know of the paint code for the Bright Flitter Prodrive alloys?
