Richard Burns memorial relay - Gatwick, Clacketts Lane, Oxford services, and Prodrive
Wow - what a fabulous day, which was a great tribute to Richard Burns. Nice to see his family at Prodrive, with his Dad waving goodbye to each car as they left the car park . I found the slideshow in the museum genuinely moving.
Quite an experience going the "wrong" way round the M25 to get to Prodrive from Sussex, and seeing group after group of scoobies joining the convoy. Was a bit worried after one of the tunnels when the police range rover came blasting through with the blues on. Thought he might have witnessed some of the flames, but he must have been attending the burnt out RAC van on the clockwise side.
Anyways, many thanks go to all the organisers, both nationally and regionally. Without you guys it wouldn't be possible. Thanks also to Gatwick Subaru for allowing us to meet up there, and to Prodrive for throwing open their site to all of us. Lastly, thanks to everyone that turned up, donated to the charity, and made it what it was.

really jealous that you got to go through the tunnel I suggested this to our lot and they said no - we did get on eblast through the hatfield tunnel before joining the main convoy at south mimms.
