Default Slam Panel DIY Style

First grab a template from a friendly owner

Thanks Mark

Secondly get an old shelf out of a steel cuboard

Mark it out then cut carefully

A splash of silver paint next

Then fit to the car

Don't forget to bend it in the right places

How's that

That's another £40 saved

Simon

Ideally Jon you need a fresh template, mine was damaged while making this up and I had to cut some more out to get mine to fit in certain places.
I can give you some measurement's but a template is the only way to give you the accurate cut's required.

If you could do some measurements I could knock one up in cardboard as a tester, if it fits I can knock up an ali one.

I might ask around if I get to Elvington in 2 weeks time, but the missus is out on the Saturday night so I might end up jiffed for baby-sitting.

Great DIY job Simon!

But you lie - it was not made from a carbon template but 3 sheets of A4 paper sellotaped up.

Looking forward to seeing your car on wednesday
