Default Day at Powerstation...

Had my car booked in at Powerstation for a 4WD alignment and power run... up on the ramp it went.. and engineer (Fuzz - top bloke!) noticed my oringinal springs had warped, bent and literally all over the place. He recommended some Eibach springs as a replacement

So on they went and he got to work with the alignment..

..a little tweek...

..

and bingo.. perfect results...

..

Quick test drive and all ok... onto the power run..

...

Everything looks ok...

..

.. and my scooby pushed out 275bhp.. Which was preety good...

...

Paid the bill.. got a laminate printout.. job done.. Cheers guys

Springs, supplied and fitted.. camberbolt change.. 4WD alignment.. bumpsteer mod.. power run.. Total cost £570. Not sure if steep or not, but they did provide excellent service and allowed me to watch the mechanic (Fuzz) as he was working.. i constantly asked him questions to build up my own knowledge.. and even the sandwiches were spot on..

How was the drive home
Should handle a LOT better now it has some springs on it..
God knows what happened to your originals, twisted all over the place and hanging out of the cup on one side
Very weird, not seen that before.

Happy motoring.

I was at Powerstation today too! i didnt realise how good the bumpsteer mods makes the steering feel! Should feel even better still when I bung the 17s back on.

Quite embarassing when I came to pay that my CC wasnt accepted.. that'll teach me to try and use a new card

Nice seeing you again Fuzz, and many thanks for the work done on my car

Drive home was nice n smooth.. no steering rattle any more and went in a straight line.. chucked it at some roundabouts and stuck like poo on a shovel.. saving up for power mods now..
