Reckon the perspex is praps an anti gravel smashin the winscreen type affair but not sure!! whatever I've never wanted to be a copper before but now.............................I still don't!!!!

The perspex is to deflect the wind up and over the lights, as they found in a high speed (Skyline!) pursuit that the lights were creating so much drag and being ripped off. Nasty!
