Default Some pictures of my car on the strip!

My mate sent me these pictures of my car on Shakespeare County Raceway drag strip that I went to this Bank Holiday Monday. Could only manage a 13.2@105mph, but I think with a bit more practice I could get it at 13seconds dead.

Anyway he is a keen photographer and here is his website with more pictures on there of various tracks and events.

Not knowing your cars spec, 13.2's not to be sniffed at. Some very nice shots of your car in action too.

Its not to bad, the car is a 2004 WRX and has 315/300, I was hoping for a 12,999. But looks like ill have to go for more power.

Front Mount next!

Rear wing was still in place, might take it off next time to see if I can get a better time.

Not to many cars there, and most left about 2pm and about 3.30pm you could drive of after your run, and drive straight back round and you would be at the front of the que again.

sorry that was meant to read "i" like the wing....not to remove it but its not a bad idea if there is much weight to it, but youll be better off removing the rear seats, spare wheel and passenger seat instead youll hit a 12 then i reckon...

The wing is Carbon Fibre and doesnt weigh much at all, So it wouldnt make a difference in the weight, but Does the rear wing push the back of the car down, Ive seen a few cars remove the rear wing when doing the quarter mile.

wing does next to nothin on the drag strip, it is there to create down force for improved grip in cornering at speed. Yours by the look of it would not have very much affect on your 1/4 mile time either on or off!!

Looks good though, seen it around brum I think.
