Smile One year on to the day.

A year has flown by A year ago today I picked up my first Subaru a Legacy turbo with the intention of keeping it as it was with just a backbox, MY00 wheels and a MY00 drivers seat It looked so innocent back then.

A year later and £x,000s of pounds later the spec is:

TD05 turbo
Scoobysport open neck 3" downpipe to 2.5"
Scoobysport center section modified for a legacy
Hayward and Scott backbox
K&N induction kit sourced from a sti5
Apexi inlet pipe
VOS chip mapped for the TD05 to run 16.5 psi on 95ron fuel
Front mount intercooler
260ps wrx interior
4 pot front brake calipers
pagid pads
black diamond disks
braided hoses
wrx classic suspension
sti 7 wheels
front strut brace
clear front indicators

Bits to fit

Clear side repeaters (on their way)
late style rear lights without the orange lenses like impreza sti ones.
A front number plate once I source one.

This is what it now looks like after all of that and the bodywork that I've had done.

Nice one Paul

[Lewis mode on]

Lose the gold wheels and go for the anthracite/black option

Thanks everyone. It's been alot of work to get it where it is and I think the front mount took me somewhere in the region of 48 man hours to perfect

richiewong

I think they will be painted silver in a couple of months. Dark in colour still looks a little too showy but I now have a front mount I've given the game away I suppose

Gary

Not as much as he used to My savings aren't quite what they were

What a difference, though it did look good in its "innocent" days too.

Keep the gold wheels!

That is spooky! It's parked in pretty much the same spot. Only the beetle/daewoo give it away

really good transformation and great to see something different

have you thought of going full on stealth, maybe darker wheels and spraying the fmic black? think you'd suprise even more people then

I have actually I still have the 16"s in my garage and I'm thinking about painting them gloss black and painting my sti wheels silver. I am going to mesh the fmic with black mesh so that you can't see it too

I decided to do this to a legacy purely to be different and to suprise a few people. It's not very often you see these and that spec for the money I have spent would just be unheard of in an impreza.
