Lots of photoshopping and picture searching and finally it ended up looking like this But, alas, still not enough for me to re-discover my Subaru love.

Anyhow, onwards and upwards, Evo 5 next, or possibly a 6

Don't get a 5, even with a name like yours.

Pay the £500-1000 extra and get a 6 (or TME).

Although I think they look Poo, the 7 has a lot of features that make it a better drivers car, if you can get one for your budget.

That's exactly the problem I had. I'll try and work on my photos and see if they are acceptable.

5 is definitely better than a 4, because of the track and induction mods, but 6 had a refined map on tye ECU and better torque than the 5 as standard.

Unlike Scoobies, each revision had an upgrade of one sort, or another. The 7 had a number of standard characteristics, such as moving the battery to aid pipework, that tuners were doing to the version 5/6 car.

If in doubt, ask the opinion of somewhere like RCM, which car for your budget, that they would suggest.

A bit too shiny and light. That would be because of the white gravel refelcting the sun making it much bright that it really was. I have that problem at airshows.

Hol, I cant afford a VII, but hopefully a VI will be available for my money at the time.

Curtis, the rims are pretty much Marmite

Swiss, end of an Era, but on to other things and still in the Subaru fold, like it or not. Can`t wait to put my Evo up against a scoob at Santa pod

Nah, just a 5 or 6 GSR for me. I`ve had 4 Subaru Imprezas now and need a change. I might/probably will, come back to Subaru ownership one day, but not this year

Cliff - sorry to hear that - but I have to admit to being drawn to the "dark side" myself after a spin in a 400bhp Evo 6 on cut slicks .....
