5 is definitely better than a 4, because of the track and induction mods, but 6 had a refined map on tye ECU and better torque than the 5 as standard.
Unlike Scoobies, each revision had an upgrade of one sort, or another. The 7 had a number of standard characteristics, such as moving the battery to aid pipework, that tuners were doing to the version 5/6 car.
If in doubt, ask the opinion of somewhere like RCM, which car for your budget, that they would suggest.

an end of an era really
bit torn between being sad to see you leave the fold and all, but happy for you that you have evventually managed to sell the scoob and are now heading towards the dark side
buy hey every cloud has a silver (or wr blue lining), so now you have sold the scoob, i can delete you from my phone book
(dont call me again !! )

Hol, I cant afford a VII, but hopefully a VI will be available for my money at the time.
Curtis, the rims are pretty much Marmite
Swiss, end of an Era, but on to other things and still in the Subaru fold, like it or not. Can`t wait to put my Evo up against a scoob at Santa pod
