Its definatly not about black subaru are the only cars that can pull gold wheels off and gold wheels are as important as a scoop in defining the subaru!!

Now see thats the point.......when I first bought the scoob it had the full rally slag look, red flaps and those funny five spoke alloys (alloy!!) and I decided that I would change/mod the car in ways that wouldn't make it what it wasn't, but different enough and pleasent for me......

Not saying I'm gonna be the only guy out there with the combination but I think it gives it the meaner look......

Now down to halfrauds to get some black paint........
unless anyone else knows a way to paint them?

Okay, quick lesson before I hit the sack.

Doing a 'good' photoshop job requires patience in masking off the areas that need to be recoloured. For this example, I took time to select only the wheels (one at a time) and then paste the wheel on to a new layer. With both wheels on the same layer you can then start playing with the colours. From gold to black, take the saturation and lightness levels way down. To get anthracite, don't go so far, and for silver take those levels down even less and adjust the hue too. For tie dye, just paste an image into the mask you made for the wheels.

That's it.
