For me it's got to be in your line of sight or ther's no point having it (hence the knocklink mod too)

how have you mounted it,i dont want to screw into the dash but i need to be able to put it away from prying eyes,at the mo it stays in the centre console but i would like to have it on veiw.

I moddified a mibile phone holder. This is a really crappy picture but should give you an idea



Basically got one that clips onto a vent and used a pair of pilers to flatten out the springy bits (technical I know) and pushed it through between the two panels. Jobs a goodun.

Why defo in the line of sight, Colin?

I haven't actually bothered with the thing at all, as i don't know why i need it tbh. And i do find the screen a bit cr@p, as i can't make anything out on it.

I use the real time trace facilty to watch the maf and knock and like to be able to have a quick glance if I see a tinkle on the knocklink. You're right about the crappy screen tho.

i agree but it is usfull for the knock,plus its nice to see the graph after a bit of a blip.
