sti ra pics please (Classics)
I'm going to be getting an sti ra soonish, once i sell my cossie, but i've only seen a few in the flesh and some pics in the autotrader, and i'm still unsure on what colours they come in and how, the models differ etc, so would you guys with em be kind enough to show us your sti ra's,(or sti's if they look the same as sti ra's? (i'm confused) then i can narrow it down a bit,
could you say what model etc aswell,
cheers, and look forwards to some pics

Hi mate,
There are that many models of impreza it can get a bit confusing. Took me a while to get to grips with it and i still dont know all the differences but ill do my best to explain what i know. I stand corrected on any of this if i'm wrong btw.
With regard to classics, cant coment on new age stuff,
The RA basically means Race Altered, generally speaking they will have no electric windows, no central locking or air con although these were available as options when the car was new and most of the cars i've seen have air con.
No side skirts, no bumper extensions, black mirrors and door handles.
They have the trade mark 5th injector, even though it does nothing! and a closed deck block. Alloy bonnet, roof vent and very short gearing!
The Sti RA gets DCCD and Sti embroidered seats apart from that they're the same.
They were only available in white, unless it's a v-limited in which case it'll most likely be blue, not sure what the difference is with a v-ltd might have different gearing, if you need to know i'm sure someone on here will know.
They still have wrx in their title ie Wrx Ra or Wrx Sti Ra, or Wrx Sti Ra V-Ltd
Hope this helps, good luck finding one.
Here's a pic of my 95 Sti Ra

Link to my white rally prepared 1995 WRX STI Type RA, got it two weeks ago.
Towed by my silver 2001 WRX SW "STI" (with 02STI Type UK PPP engine, brakes etc) after a ice track race.
