New here: Silver Classic from Switzerland
hey everyone
I'm new here and I thought I'd introduce myself by showing some pics of my scooby..
My name's Martin and i live near Zurich, Switzerland, where I'm currently studying engineering at the ETH.. (in case anyone knows what that is.. )
I hope my english is good enough to survive in here..
Well I won't talk any more, so here's my scooby:
as you might know, we barely have any classic STi versions because they weren't sold here and if someone would spend the money to import one he'd also have to, well, stick the steering wheel on the other side of it..
So mine's a european MY 99 GT, trying to be JDM..
My newest bit is the rear wing, hope you like that..
(and I hope my pictures work..)
as it looks now: (with the boring winter rims..)
what I like to do with it:
some older pictures, with the OZ rims but yet without the 22B wing..
Mods: (trying to list all of them in english..)
H&R coilovers
OZ Superturismo GT rims 7,5x17
Pirelli P Zero Nero 215 40 17
(Winter: OEM 7x16 rims, Pirelli Snowsport)
Tarox disks and Pagis pads at the front
Apex'i AVC-R
Apex'i Auto Timer
IHI VF29
STi V6 TMIC
forged pistons
cylinder head gasket
lightened flywheel/pulley
filter
emptied original downpipe (decat stuff is illegal in Switzerland..)
P1 backbox (my pride! I love the sound..)
strengthened STi V6 transmission kit (rallispec.com)
AP Racing Clutch
White front indicators
clear side indicators
JDM Taillights
all the plasticy bits on the outside in car colour
Orciari/P1 Replica front lip spoiler from zerospec.com
front grille
MRT 22B rear wing
car colored centre console etc.
Sparco seatbelts
Sparco pedals
oil temp
and coming very soon:
Ecutek plus bigger injectors, 290L/H fuelpump
so that's the GC8.. please tell me what you think..
bigger and more pictures and also pictures of how it used to look when I bought it you'll find here: http://impreza.fotopic.net

hey thanks for the compliments!
I'll tell him that..
Not all the cars on my page are exactly my taste but there are quite nice ones..
Unfortunately ugly scoobies are not uncommon in Switzerland..
but there's quite some nice ones too
you bet right..
around here there ain't sooo many snowy roads.. but I just have to drive into the mountains.. love it! and so far I haven't even dented it although I like to play "rally sweden"
And ok, I'll remeber if I go to geneva.. (I'll try)
same for you if you come to zurich! (but I don't really speak french..)
