Looks very nice indeed!! Get a set of Eibach springs to bring the ride height down about. About £160 I think.

Ben

PS - Good to see you got the pics working!

Looks good, but I reckon you might get pulled over with those front tints.

Is it wise to pay that for insurance and have it made void by illegal tints ??

Anything past the B post that isnt manufacturers std. is illegal. If you haven't informed your insurance of the tints you will not get the full pay out if involved in an accident.

I dont think this quite correct as I'm sure you are allowed front tints but they must comply with a % of light coming through and this new law doesn't allow much of a tint at all.

I don't think that's correct. You can have the front windows tinted (not windscreen) but it must let through 85% of sunlight otherwise the police can make you have them removed.

Insurance companies must be made aware of all changes to the car that alter the standard spec.

It still looks like a cracking car though!

Define standard!

Mine had the Splitter and 17" gold alloys factory fitted.. so it came as standard with them! Optional extras fitted by the factory ?? Standard ?

As far as I'm concerned they came new with car and I didnt ask for them

Yes, interesting point - if you ordered extras at time of purchase, should they be declared (ie different alloys etc). And if you buy the car second hand, should those extras be declared as well? Must be a nightmare buying a BMW, having to declare all those extras like a stereo, electric windows, air con, seats, steering wheel etc
