Borrowed the new toy from work and took a couple of pics of the scoob. Resolution isn't too great, but it's a precision thermometer not a camera really (still cost seven grand tho ) Still, it's pretty good at locating next doors cat in the flower beds!!!!

Couldn't get a clear line of sight to the turbo, but it would be interesting to get a surface temp from it after a hard run.

You'd never guess the tyres would get so hot in winter, were you caning it on the way home.

I have some pics of mine using our Thermal Imaging on the Challenger 2 tank.
I thought i was the only one strange enough to do this
pretty high res. Unfortunately i cant post them up on a public bbs. As its all classified.

However I can show them at a meet. so keep an eye out for me.

amazing pics mate - can't believe no-ones thought of doing this before! Would be a good way of gauging whether heat-wrapping your downpipe works if you got before and after pictures.
