My new car
thanks to winning the competition on scoobynet for a powerstation remap, I finally got off my *** and started looking in earnest for a new motor. I've had my silver classic for nearly 3 years now, and done over 60k in it. All good fun, and I've thouroughly enjoyed my classic scooby ownership. However, it's time to move on, and get a car with a little more, shall I say, class?
As much as I'd like a spec c, I've a family to run around, and also have to consider the wife driving the car occasionally, so I've gone for a nice my03 (53) sti with ppp. Just picked it up today, from Just-Sports in Oldham, big thanks Nige and had a run around between Oldham and Huddersfield. Then I had an order from my son to meet him at school for dinnertime, so he could see the car in the flesh Who am I to dissapoint?
And, after posting this, I'm off out tonight to show the smacs lads
New flaps coming soon for the car, and maybe a front splitter for xmas (and so the modding begins )
Chris.

Like the car mate. Shame we couldn't get out for a run last night................but then I did have a Fireblade engine in pieces and you had the troops with you!
Seen as you'll be taking it easy for a while, and I don't have any mechanical sympathy what so ever, we should be quite evenly matched.............for now!
We need a blast ASAP!

Thanks alan, I'll try to make the 15th, but I'm working nights over xmas, and may not be going to work in my car (bit of a dodgy area I'm working in )
I'll post up all my reports from powerstation after xmas, keep an eye out for it
The guy who had my car previously got it RR'd at power engineering back in june 04, and it was putting out 299bhp/292lbft. Obviously ppp.
Yours is a jdm isn't it? So you've got that much to start with. I'm going to go with a milltek or scoobysport exhaust before the remap, then save hard and get the ast's in the new year.

Pre 06 Type 20's & 25's are JDM twin scroll's.. so It's about that figure out of the box... Powerstation work their magic to get ~335 on the 2Ltr... lower for the UK STI I believe on the std map...
Good choice on the Miltek and the AST's... I'd highly reccomend the whole T20/25 handling package which is the Uprated ARB's, Geometry setup and Anti-lift on top of the AST's.. makes a world of difference and is rightly praised for it's handling..
