Scooby Returned to Standard and Sold...
Well as some of you are aware I returned my Subaru to standard and have now sold it straight away to a friend with the following bits.
The car is now running what a normal type-r would have (blue printed 2litre STI engine, top mounted intercooler, STI Turbo, fuel system ecu) etc.. but with..
Custom H&S 3.25" downpipe
Custom H&S Pat Spec 3.25" Exhaust System with titanium tip
JDM STI 6-Speed Standard Gearbox
Front and Rear Crown Wheel & Pinion changed from 4.44:1 to 3.9:1
Suretrack Front Diff
DCCD Centre Diff
LSD Rear Diff
Cusco Carbon Fibre Bonnet
Carbon Fibre Enlarged Bonnet Hood Scoop
Updated Front end with Prodrive P1 Front Splitter
22B Adjustable Rear Spoiler with Carbon Fibre 22B Spoiler Blade
STI Chrome Petrol Cap
Clear Jewl Front Indicators
Clear Side Indicators
Rare STI Rabbit Badge
Prodrive PFF 8" x 18" wheels in the silverish colour with toyo T1S 225x35x18 tyres
Eibach Springs
STI 4 Pot Brakes
Blitz Turbo Timer
Kenwood double-din head-unit (Tape/CD Player) has built in esp, dsp, graphic equalizer etc + remote control & Expander
Kenwood 10-CD Changer
Kenwood Front and Rear Speakers
Kenwood Basebox with built in amplifier
Top of the range alarm system
STI Center dials (shows oil temp, battery voltage, oil pressure)
STI Boost Gauge
As you can see from the list above, the base of the car is already nicely updated, and I have to say the six speed gearbox is a dream for this car. It goes very well
It arrived back on the island on Friday, and it hadn't been cleaned for about 2 years! Been that long really without it!!
Spent Friday evening and Saturday morning giving her a good clean inside and out. The car has come up brilliantly, and looks brand new in the inside, and very nice on the outside. The bonnet has come out well - I did two coats of black polish on it.
It is the first time I have seen the outside finished, it really goes well with the custom CF blade that I had made. Pleased it has all come together in the end!!
Certainily going to be gutted to see her go to be honest, it goes very, very well. On tick over it sounds quite quiet, and you can cruise with out it being too noisey, and when you apply the power she certainily opens up and sounds lovely.
