Does the guy not mean that the Carbon Fibre itself is coloured.... rather than Fatman's being Carbon Fibre and then painting it blue??

Cheers,
Grant

I think we worked that out from your first post.

I would be quite interested to see some close-ups.

i think the camera makes it look a lot worse than it perhaps is....

i think my question would be why do it when there is next to no weight saving over the lightweight alu bonnet anyway?

it is MUCH MUCH lighter.

besides, i did it to make it MY scoob, and not looking like anyone elses.

p.s. more pics and close up added... but i still think its better in the flesh, just gota wait for scooby meets.

Yes, it looks like its going to be a 'see it in the flesh' type thing, because the photos just make it look like its primered and ready to paint!

Thumbs up

I think it looks pretty good, prefer the coloured carbon to the normal carbon that can make some cars (not all) look like it has had a visit to the breakers for a 2nd-hand bonnet off a different coloured car! Just my personal preference of course, I think carbon works better on some colour of car to others!

Would like to see it in the flesh to get the real effect!

I think it would look cool in the flesh - I don't think the pictures do it justice (although the one close up on the vent looks quite cool!)!

Good on you for being different!

That's good enough then I think the trouble is the camera has picked up on the high spots moreso than looking at it in the flesh? I bet it really looks like silk in real life
