Forgive my stupidity, but I thought the T25 had the carbon GT style rear spoiler fitted, or was that an option?

there isnt much i can say what hasnt been said in that post.
Love it!!!

How come the torque figure is so much more than a standard type 25, is it because it is a WR limited???

The seats are wicked

Must gave had every extra going.

Im not too sure about the exhaust dose it sound good??

And do you have any pics of this airbox???

The torque figure is about what you should expect and that the quoted figure was measured on Powerstations old rollers which were known for being conservative. My T25 is the same as any other except that it is based on a Spec C WR Ltd rather than a STi, the only extras really are the seats and wheels.
The exhaust does sound good but different as it has lost the throb due to the equal length headers.
The airbox and PSi3 unit are due to be fitted next week.
If you are really struck by the WR Ltd, Iain does have one for sale I think which could always have the T25 treatment!!!!!!!!!!!.

Thanks Mog, Have noticed it hiding in the for sale section, but has a different front bumper (think its the older shape) Dosent look half as good as yours.
Will see when i get up there in two weeks maybe could make a deal.
How long do you have to wait for the conversion??

It has the same bumper except I had the STi corner extensions put on so that the splitter could be fitted.

... and if you can't afford a Type 25 ... you could always get a Type 20 ... T25 suspension, exhaust, lip spoiler etc but with std 2.0 ltr JDM engine. Still quick but not extremely quick.

Not the 25, but the 20. EXACTLY the same body and handling kit but with only a Ecu Tek'd 2.0 Ltr..

I posted because of the Spec C option spoiler..

I have only good things to say about Iain & Tim. No complaints from me at all. Good service, attentive, knowledgeable and they both did everything to help me out.. in a few cases went the 'extra mile' without being asked... I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for an import..

I won't be servicing there as I'm over 3hrs away, but Powerstation would do that anyway as Iain only sells.. Powerstation do the technical work..

Difference between a 25 & 20? Tough question..

For me it was two things;

Cost: My T20 was some £6k cheaper and half the insurance. I could have gone for the 25, but I couldn't justify that difference for the Engine alone. My T20 was a T25, but I simply had a new STI9 engine installed. This was Eku tek'd and had added Spec C Oil & Fuel pumps as well as a Spec C oil cooler.

Handling: The T25 will have lumps more torque, possibly 70+ Lbs and about 20-30 BHP, but in the real world where my car is a daily drive / commute, power is less of an issue. The handling is something I can use every day, the power less so. Anyway, 320+ BHP and similar torque is not shabby..

It's arguably the best handling Impreza there is (second in the 2004 Autocar drivers car of the year) as Iain has picked some choice suspension stuff and Powerstation have worked their magic on the geometry.. For me, with a wife, and three kids, this is simply a stunning motor. It looks good, it's quick and its handling is simply brilliant..

But this is my choice.. I'm sure there are T25 owners who are equally impressed....

Exactly the issues im facing too, on top of the fact (the new sti spec C is coming). not keen from some of the pics, but then again wasn’t keen on the 05 model but has really grown on me.

Thanks Alan great response.

I was at Powerstation/Litchfields yesterday Mk Type R .... Iain I think still has a black MY05 JDM that could be converted to a T20 for you !!!

He's also about to receive some MY06 cars so he may be willing to do a deal on the MY05.

I'd also back everything Alan C says about the T20 as opposed to a T25. For me it came down to the fact that I couldn't justify an extra £6k for performance that I wasn't really going to use. The T20 at c.325bhp/320lb/f and handling pack is still a pretty formidable proposition.

I did test drive the T25 and again I have to agree with Alan ... in day2day conditions, there is little to tell them apart performance wise as far as I can remember unless you are pushing it.
