Pics from Class 1 offshore powerboats, Plymouth
Hi,
Well it's that time of year again, when the World Class 1 offshore powerboat
championship circus lands in Plymouth.
These boats are nothing short of monsters. They have Twin 8.2l V12 lamborghini powerplants, EACH producing 900bhp
Of course a scooby would have them on the bends
They reach speeds of 160mph, which may not sound too fast, but on water that is scary fast.
Today was a bit of a shakedown so not too much action, race day is Sunday,
i'll post up some more pics then,

This is one lucky lucky lady, she is the team photographer for the Victory team, she travels all over the world to snap these boats and gets paid for it.

I'm no pro that's for sure, just enjoy taking pics of anything with an engine, and boy do these bad boys have engines

Wonderful pictures, thanks! The sound track of those Lambo’s running full tilt is possible the most incredible noise on the planet. Goose bumps in not the word for it….
