um, they r quite easy to fit on but u need drill some holes behind the left lamp as indicated in the fifth piccy. if u have abs pump there, u need to find somewhere else to put the water tank. and rest of kit will fit straight on, no problem.

Thats a nice little design.

Those jets will be more efficient than the standard subaru ones IMHO.

It would probably work quite well on a front mount too!

Cool

i dunno weather you guys know this but the origional subaru L and M reg wrc cars had the same type of system fitted,,,i.e the spray nozzels fitted to the intercooler,,,it works quite well apparently, and i know of at least 2 origional colin mcrae cars that still use it today on a top mount intercooler.
( just thought i would bore you with some facts )

has anyone noticed an improvement in this hot weather????

around 60 quid, lol, cheap innit?

the scoop design of early model is not quite good for cooling engine of motorway driving while the speed is approaching over 80 or 90 mph. just in case, i fit that little thing on and make sure my engine wont go bang in the HOT days on the motorway, lol

Good point but surely if it only sprays the intercooler fins which are aluminium is it not, it will be ok? Does it overspray everywhere? Interested as I have got one winging its way to me soon!

Don't see why this should be any different to rain going into the air scoop!!

just put my original rubber surround back to the underneath of scoop, and cut both side off to make enough room for nozzles. everything is good now no overspray again. here is the photo for ur mikeGG.

OK i had a bit of spare time today so here are the pics of my intercooler spray

A different switch from the one supplied

Good old cable ties

As i have a wagon i have a rear wash wipe which i don't use much so i have used the pump from this for the intercooler spray, i will be looking in the future to find a way to just angle the jets down towards the intercooler a little bit more so more of the spray goes onto the intercooler, apart from that it works just fine

No different that rain water mate. The water in a genuine subaru water spray kit is no different than what you are using.. find an ower thats had water spray for years.......... their engine bay will look no different to one that doesn't.
