Default hey guys, my car pics

hey eveyone just want to say hello i resent brought a 1996 impreza sport... over the next 2 weeks its having abit of work done i having facelift turbo bonnet headlights and grill fitted, fully colour coded and all the rally decals.

current mods are: lowered 40mm, sti spoiler, cristal clear indicators/side repeaters, black cristal rear lights, full wrx interior from a 1995 impreza, full cat back magnex s/s exhaust, pipercross induction filter

im changing a few bits the exhaust im having a custom made system by special scoobys also fitting a cold are induction losing the cheap pipercross filter also the rear lights are comming off im looking for some standard rear lights with the clear indicators.

You have been busy there !

If you want to find some standard rears or just some more information regarding your n/a sport try www.imprezasport.net as well as here, plenty of n/a modding going on so you can get your wallet ready lol

End of the day it's your car mate and more importantly your cash. Dont listen to other peoples over inflated opinions. You've plenty of time to get a turbo if thats what you want and you sound sensiible. I know people who struggle week in and out to pay for insurance on their turbos which I think detracts from owning one.

Good thing about this site is it doesn't matter what Impreza you have you're treated the same.

Nice car btw..................agree the sti lights would look

i must admit though, i dont understand how spending thousands on a sport can work out cheaper than just insuring the turbo which already has most of these parts.
its only my opinion, im not starting a war of words.

I have to say, I was thinking the same. I mean, you never invest money into a car expecting it to increase in value.
As JCScooby said, I'm not having a go... just trying to understand the logic!

...Same here too, Why spend all that money modding when you could have had the turbo and had it already modded and used 2k to insure it, Again has said, Im not having a pop mate, Just curious like the others...but still, enjoy!!!!

Very nice looking motor m8......love that DBM......Slightly biased cos mines that colour.....As for insurance £5500 is shocking but not surprising.....One of my kids has a Fiesta 1.25 Zetec and the cheapest he could get was £1500 and he is 18.

A late reply I know - nice motor tho!

What insurance Company r u with? I have a sport special and wanna get a turbo bonnet for it. I'm with the privillage (cheapest at £777 with protected no claims - i'm 21) but they won't allow any mods at all until i'm 25!

looking to change next year as couldn't find any company to insure me with mods & protect my no claims - I only want a bonnet FFS!

Cheers!
