TEIN S.Tech Springs
TEIN S.Tech springs
I thought that I would just put a few words together to say a big thanks to Xtreme Scoobies for working on my car today.
I won an H&S Back box at the SBO, which they had put into the raffle last weekend. On winning, Knowlesy, who knew that I already had one, offered to swap it for a set of TEIN S.Tech springs. After checking with my insurance company (No increase in premium) I jumped at the chance
I’ve just had the green monsters fitted to my car (W reg, 2000 UK Turbo), which have lowered it by 28mm at the front and 30mm at the rear. Spring rate 3.2 kgf/mm front & rear.
On the drive home the ride in a straight line over normal bumpy roads doesn’t feel too hard at all, in fact I’d say it feels much better than standard. Cornering at any speed feels so much more planted, with significantly less body roll
All I can say is if you are thinking of getting this done, I’d say go for it Xtreme are always professional and are genuinely a nice bunch of guys. I was in there for a little over an hour. Extremely fast service guys
I’ve taken some before and after photos so you can see the difference in appearance. A much more aggressive look, that I couldn’t be happier with

I now have a renewed joy in driving it puts a smile back on my face. Similar to when I first bought the car..... you get used to the handling / performance until you make a small modification.
You really can throw it into corners faster than before without the body roll as standard, SO much better..
Good recommendation guys

Did you have the Tein springs fitted to OE dampers or have you changed them as well?

I've not had 2 people in the back yet, just the one, but did go round a few corners fast and herd nothing, I am running original wheels though, maybe your Rolling radius or Offset of your wheels is slightly out of spec!?!?!
Or could it be your mudflaps grounding out?? I have had that, but thats not a problem
See you tonight mate
