When I was thinking about having them done I tended to take lots of piccies of blue scoobs with silver graphics. And hardly any of anything else!

i wanted something different, all the scoobs with decals in the area have the yellow or day glow on so just wanted to make sure silver was gonna look alright and thanks to your pic it will

Got em done a couple of weeks ago. Not exactly a plain car without them but its amazing how much more attention it gets now!
Definately a good choice in silver (but maybe I'm biased?) like you say there seems to be loads of yellow ones about. Nice to be different
Ended up getting mine off ebay and getting them fitted at the local tinting place. He did a good job and I saved a few pennies too
I'm sure you won't be disappointed with yours whatever route you take.
