Question Wheels now for sale

ok, now i'm very good at making the right choice of mods where my car is concerned (IMO) and am always happy with my decisions.... except, this time i have a niggling doubt. now i know its all about personal preference, but.... i would like some opinions on my latest choice please.

so....

THE CAR

and now...

THE NEW WHEELS

so, what do you Scoobypeeps reckon????? please feel free to comment as well as use the poll option.

cheers,

Kevin

ps. either way, the car has to have some new 18s on!

Have you tried them on the car yet????

Cheers Lou

Lee/Karl,

the car is up at Scoobyclinic at the moment. if i can get away from work on time tomorrow, i'll take the wheels up and try em on (assuming the car isn't being worked on at the time).

i know what you mean about making the car look darker... and that was the general ideal... wanted a slighlty meaner look! i love the Kahns too, but i've been after a set of 18s for some time now! if i can get some pictures of them on tomorrow, i'll post them here.

cheers,

Kevin

Another vote for the new wheels from me They look quite similar to the 10 spoker 17s I had on my old red classic (see pic)

They remind me of an old 3D set of wheels i did

Anyway get them wheels on, as soon as you see the reflections as you drive past shop windows you'll know it makes sense...

thanks to all who have voted and or commented thus far... its looking pretty conclusive!

ps.. sh1tty M1 conspired against me and i ended up reaching Scoobyclinic late - so sadly no pics of the wheels on the car until i get it back in a few weeks.

i love my Kahns Dazza, had 'em longer than i've had the car (well, by a week or so) - fancied a set of 18s for the last year or so and figured the car could do with a slighlty meaner look, hence....

yeah, i am pretty much convinced now that i made a good decision with this purchase (was just a moment of weekness on my part) - and they really do look well on your car!

i think my problem was that i am a big fan of fewer and fatter spoked wheels, so this is quite a change for me. once again, good luck with your replacement alloys.

Where'd you get that second spoiler above the rear windshield. I like the car. Only thing I'd change is all the meshing to black and some black mudflaps to match the rims.

those rims have been sold now and i'm getting plain old silver ones this week, so i think the red flaps will stay

re the spoiler, its a custom one i had made a few years back now - haven't seen another with anything similar (apart from the new 2006 model Scoobs) - maybe because not too many people like it.... but i love it
