god knows - need to ask alyn. it lacks most of the kit but does have a wicked map in the GEMS (thank you Alyn), but its still well short of even group N clubman spec.
so i suppose a restrictor, approved fire system, battery kill switch, and all those switches that need to be labeled - biggest problem is the cage which would need major mods because of the shape of the front uprights i.e. the curve in them.
even so i admit im more of a wannabe as i really couldnt afford to run it as a rally car - but i am going to get a national B licence and try and compete on hillclimbs and sprints.
brought the car in from Japan myself last year and even then it wasnt a everyday car because the suspension was a killlllllller!! I tried to flog it on here idea was to put the profit into building up a WRX STi Ra 96 into a pure track car --
but it didnt sell! hence turning this into a pure weekend / track car
TISS parcel shelf is fine - have you fired up those alpines yet?? if you want i will strip the entire stereo loom so you can use it???

cage is a jap one fitted by the ex-owner a Japanese drift driver probably - hence no homologation
Hi Simon - nothing wrong with that Diff!!! the suspension as you suspected was set for drifting. the diff is probably an R180 but pre-loaded hence it dont like going slow. it handles with lets say good manners!!
yes would love to go to croft is it trackdays uk or something can you send details so i can get a place

Hi Mate.
You'll probably need to weld in a bulkhead where the rear seat backs used to be if you want to use for sprinting and hillclimbing.
Even if the regs don't require it, it would be common sense
Looking good though

nah it wouldnt cost that much - it would just be a load of hastle, and I cant afford to rally. so its staying as a wannabe rally car and track day car.
next stuff i want to do is -
1) paint floor pan shiny sonic blue when i have chipped away all the sound proofing
2) carbon mirrors, carbon door cards
3) impove the cold air supply to the induction kit - who can you get these from and feed it from either a spot light blank or get some morrettes and feed it from a removed light
